Bad news for everyone involved in the infamous $2.1bn armgate investigations who clinked champagne glasses in honour of giving the EFCC the slip and made it abroad with the dirty loot.
The anti-corruption body is working assiduously with foreign law enforcements agencies like the USA’s FBI and the UK’s NCC to extradite every last person on their wanted list.
Of particular interest to the EFCC right now are people like former Minister of State for Defence, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro, ex-National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, among others.
The EFCC had while investigating the alleged fraud relating to the diversion of $2.1bn meant for prosecution of the war against the Boko Haram insurgency, discovered that the total funds diverted by various personalities and agencies was over $15bn!
Meaning being abroad isn’t uhuru for these distinguished suspects as they’re riper for extradition than they ever knew.
