Popular Yoruba movie actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, on Wednesday had a brush with policemen in Osogbo and got arrested for a traffic infraction.
The star actress and her entourage were travelling in a gold-colour Honda when they got flagged in the busy Olaiya Junction area of Osogbo.
A source claimed the vehicle was stopped because the driver was making a call while driving while others claimed it was the Police cap placed on the dash board of the vehicle that attracted the policemen.
Whatever the reason, the actress and her entourage were whisked away and taken downtown but were later released for what was said to be a minor traffic issue.
Thank heavens for star-power, eh?
