As the relevant authorities are carrying out investigations to unravel the origin and activities of the new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, the erstwhile billionaire militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, has denied vehemently being the brains behind the group.
Recall that the new kids on the militancy block, Niger Delta Avengers, claimed responsibility for the destruction of the Forcados 48-inch Export Pipeline in Delta State earlier in the year.
The search is on for these freedom fighters.
