The Late Oba
The Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba Erediauwa Akpolokpolo I, is dead. He was to have died on Friday afternoon. His passing was announced by the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sam Igbe. The late Benin monarch had been battling an unknown illness since last year.
May his soul rest in peace.
