The stage is all but complete for former governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff to keep the chairmanship of the party on a permanent basis as the PDP National Executive Committee, approved the retention of the chairmanship of the party to the North.

While this may be pleasing to the ears of Modu Sheriff, the South West delegates to the party's convention hold a different view altogether.

The May convention of the PDP is set to be very interesting going by this latest development.
