Joan Marakpor
Remember the incident earlier in the week where a female lawmaker, Joan Marakpor from Delta State, was allegedly assaulted by officials attached to the Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prison Service, NPS Peter Ekpendu?
Well the embattled Prisons' boss was said to have faulted the lawmaker's claims in the House of Reps summon to appear before it's Committee on Interior and Police Affairs over the matter.
Now this is where it gets confusing. Who saw what and what exactly happened? Perhaps witnesses will spring up soon.
As for the Prisons' boss, he maintains the lawmaker lied... Remember, all liars go to hell sir!
