Olisa Metuh
For ardent followers of Nigeria's political scene the name 'Chief Olisa Metuh' needs no introduction. The fiery and recently embattled national publicity secretary of the PDP and one of the party's founding members held Nigeria's political landscape spellbound for a better part of the last 16 years.
What's news, however, is Chief Metuh's rather shocking decision not to contest for any position at the party's next convention in May 2016. From the look of things, the firebrand voice of the party would prefer to take the backseat while still vehemently supporting Africa's biggest party. One can certainly wish him a blissful retirement and joyful times with his family from now on...
