Do you know any government official seeking medical help for treatment that can be handled in Nigerian hospitals? Be kind enough to let him/her know foreign treatment aren’t on government tab anymore.
The Buhari administration seems to have taken a strong stand against medical tourism among its officials by refusing them allowance for treatment of ailments that can be procured in Nigerian hospitals.
President Buhari made the revelation at the opening ceremony of the 56th Annual General Conference and delegates meeting of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Sokoto on Wednesday, April 27th.
Do you support this initiative to stop government officials from collecting this kind of allowance?
