The altercation which happened last week, left her face bloodied and bruised.
The 33-yr-old police officer, Josh Kehm, literally picked Valdez up and slammed her onto the ground face-first, knocking her unconscious.
Valdez was about to get in a fight with another student at Rhodes Middle School when officer Kehm decided to break the two apart by restraining Janissa.
When she struggled, his reaction was to pick her up and throw her onto the ground before handcuffing her. Students who were present captured the altercation which surfaced online a few days ago.
Josh is being investigated for his inappropriate use of excessive force.
