The crew of a Turkish cargo ship believed to be travelling from Gabon to Ivory coast have been kidnapped by pirates, off the coast of Nigeria.
The pirates attacked the ship late at night as it was sailing close to the oil-rich Niger Delta.
The Nigerian navy say the vessel's captain and the chief engineer were amongst those kidnapped.
There is currently no information on the whereabouts of the crew.
